Holly's new words/signs (as of 9/15/08)

Holly is really astonishing me with her vocabulary and understanding of concepts. She is talking in 3 word sentences now and is so fun to listen to. I crack up several times a day by her expressions and comments. Tonight, she was sitting on daddy's lap drinking her juice and watching TV. I guess the music in the show he was watching was a bit intense, so Holly said, "Scary. Pause it!" and reached for the remote. I need to start writing her expressions on a notepad so I don't forget them because now I can't remember half the things she said today that were funny. I'll work on that for the next update. =)

Miscellaneous pics

This is what the kitchen looked like when we bought our house. Wood floor and laminate counter tops.

Doug ripped out thetile (with help from our friend Garth!) and our Bishop put in tile for us.

Here is what our kitchen looks like now. We replaced the 6ft island with a black distressed 5ft one and replaced the laminate counters with granite. We LOVE it!
