My Concert Pianist

" Please...no pictures."

Poser

Savannah's hair was all wavy after she took her braids out so she wanted me to take her picture with her wavy hair. She says, "Mom, I look like a different person!"

I tried something different with Savannah's hair for church a few weeks ago and I LOVE the way it turned out. Savannah asked me to do her hair like this for school the next day too! She said everyone at school told her, "Oh Savannah, your hair looks SO pretty!"
She was tickled pink. =)

My favorite Book

(Holly): "This is my favorite book!"
"It has a cool mirror on it."
"I mostly just like to smack it! Hee hee."
"Look! I can turn the pages all by myself."

Deck Progress...Railing

On Saturday, Doug ran out of posts so he was forced to end early (much to my delight...I was glad he got to come in a little earlier than usual and relax some).
He put in 120 posts and has 60 more to go. Once that's done, he'll just have the stairs and the hot tub platform left to do! YAHOO!
I wish we could have left the railing off and just had an open view of the city, lake and mountains, but we figured if we put stool height chairs out on the deck, we'll be able to see over the railing anyway.
It still amazes me that Doug has built this deck himself. For not having done anything like this before, he has done an incredible job!

The last deck board is officially in!

Last Deck Board! YEAH!

There's THE MAN! He is drilling the last screw into the last deck board. =)

Here is a little view of the deck from our bedroom window upstairs.

This is a picture of Savannah's pile of "love stones" she collected outside while daddy worked on the deck. (If any of you have seen the movie "Happy Feet" that is where the term "love stones" comes from.) She LOVES being outside with Daddy on Saturday.

Here's daddy's little helper. She brings him all the screws when he needs them.

Here's daddy's other helper. She's pretty good at just grabbing the nearest tool and slobbering all over it. Hee hee.
Two cute helper girls.
Here is Savannah lining up all the screws for Daddy. "Daddy, do you need another one yet?"

Crazy About Covers! (Nursing covers that is)

I make and sell nursing/breastfeeding covers!
These are a must for all nursing moms. (I have three of my own and can't live without them!) I nurse anywhere and everywhere with these covers (including walking around Disneyland!). Here are some examples of the style I make. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in getting one for yourself or as a gift!

These are made of 100% cotton and fabric styles are chosen with mom in mind!

These are made of light weight cozy flannel like a receiving blanket so they double great as a blanket for baby. They come in baby prints (for boys or girls - above) or cute prints for mom (below).
Prices vary so please contact me for more info!

Happy Nursing!!!
